Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has recently
launched Agent Banking Service for its clients.
In this connection, two Agent Banking
Outlets were inaugurated on 16 June, 2015 at Brahmanbaria. In the first event,
Chairman and Managing Director of Uttara Group of Companies Matiur Rahman
inaugurated the Chargach Bazar Agent Banking Unit at Kasba and in the later
event, Chairman of the Bank Badiur Rahman inaugurated the Champaknagar Bazar
Unit at Champaknagar. Both ceremony were presided by the Managing Director of
the Bank Md. Habibur Rahman. Among other dignitaries was present Director
Alhajj Abdul Malek Mollah.
Executive Vice President Abed Ahmed Khan
delivered the welcome speech. Among others were present, Company Secretary Md.
Mofazzal Hossain, Deputy Managing Directors Kazi Towhidul Alam, Md. Fazlul
Karim, Senior Vice Presidents Engr. Md. Habib Ullah, A K M Amzad Hossain, Md.
Aminul Islam Bhuiyan, Md. Abdul Ghani and other executives of the Bank. Agent
of the new Outlets Md. Abdul Kaiyum Bhuiyan thanked the audience.
The
event saw the introduction of new Agent Banking Outlets of the Bank from where
customers can open accounts, deposit and
withdraw money, collect remittance, check account balance, transfer funds,
apply for investment, collect sanctions, pay utility bills, pay installments
